Great Stroller For Day Care Providers! Aug 05, 2009
By J. Wallace
"day care lady"
I am a child care provider with LOTS of strollers, singles, double, jogging and now this one. This is a nice, sturdy item that is quite heavy and seems to be well made. The only issue is even though the weight limit per seat is 40 pounds. I can't imagine a child over age 30 pounds or age two would be very comfortable in this stroller. The canopies are quite low so there is not a lot of head room. But, when all is said and done, if you want a good, sturdy quad stroller this one will get the job done.

triplets + 1 Sep 23, 2010
By Trista We had a triplet stroller that we used for a year, then we were blessed with another baby shortly after our triplets turned 15 months old. Shortly after the baby's birth, we invested in this stroller because the triplets were still too little and couldn't hardly walk on their own. While it is heavy, it worked fabulous for us! It fit much better in the back of our Excursion than the triplet stroller ever did. And while it is super heavy, if you grab it just right, it isn't that bad. Our SUV is very high off the ground, and I hauled it in and out all the time. I think it's a matter of how important it is to get out. I really needed to be able to get out and this helped me do that. While it fit through almost every door we used, we did run into problems at our local grocery store. The door is older and narrow, plus there is an immediate turn, so we couldn't use it in the store. I didn't have that problem anywhere else. It was too heavy for our older boys to push, but it wasn't bad for an adult to push. Also we found that if we put the lighter ones in the front, it was easier to push up curbs, etc. I did not like the hand release brake, so I simply took a small bungee cord and tied it up, so that I didn't have to hold it down all the time. The only reason I really saw any necessity for it is if you were going down a hill, but that isn't necessary where we live. All in all, this provided freedom for me to get out with five of our small children (I could "corral" the little ones while allowing their older brother to walk beside me); it is very well made; it is extremely sturdy; we had NONE of the issues with fabric fraying/tearing that we did in out triplet; there is more room in each individual seat than in our triplet stroller; it fit super well in our vehicle. I would (and have) recommend this to anyone with four small children, daycare provider, multiples parent, anyone. Our triplets are 3 1/2 and weigh 33 pounds each, our daughter is 2 and weighs 24 pounds and we can still use it.

Works well, awkward to load/unload Apr 26, 2010
By R. Whalen
"Read N Teach"
Positives: We enjoy using this stroller. The kids get a real kick out of sitting next to a buddy. It snugly fits through most doorways. The kids fit well, even the three-year-olds. An infant car seat can fit in one of the back seats and still have room for a toddler sitting next to them. I also like the automatic braking system that activates whenever you release the handle. It folds up well and just fits into the back of a 12-passenger Ford Heavy Duty van.
Negatives: We probably don't use it as much as we would if it were easier to get it into and out of the van or at least a bit lighter. It is very heavy and awkward for one person to try and pick up or load. Also, when in the folded position, the wheels don't turn, so you must either fully assemble it or try and carry it when moving it between places. Because it is heavier, it is harder to take it on unpaved trails and it easily sinks and gets stuck in mud and gravel. It does okay on the larger bark chips often found at parks as long as there are two or less kids riding at the time. On a more technical note, the back seats are held up by two buckles. On ours, one of the sets of buckles is too tight to allow the ends to meet, so it is permanently in a reclined position. This is something that should be checked upon arrival (we didn't because we were using the back seats for infants and didn't need them in the upright position for quite some time)

Foundations Quad Four Child Stroller, Blue Aug 25, 2011
By Allison Conley As a mother of a four year old, three year old, 19 month old, and one on the way in October, I needed to find a stroller that would accomodate all four boys on an outing. The Foundations Quad Stroller is a viable option for growing families. It can be used to fit an infant car seat in the back row before the child is 6 months old which makes it easy to take everyone along. It folds up relatively compact, fits behind the third row in my SUV quite nicely. One must get used to the brake system on the handle bar, as it enagages each time you let go, but it is a great safety option as well as the foot brake. It is a heavier stroller, but that it to be expected for a quad stroller. The weight limit is forty pounds per seat, so you must consider the weight of your children and how long you anticipate having to use it before they grow out of it prior to making this purchase. If your children are taller or heavier, you may want to consider the next size up Foundations Quad Stroller which can accomodate up to 50 pounds per seat, but I can't imagine a five year old using a stroller for too much longer. At that point, it is a great stroller to use if you'd like to bring younger, same age children along. The kids seem to really enjoy having a little friend in close proximity. If it matters to you to be able to get out and go for walks or go shopping without having four active kids run in four different directions, then this stroller may be the perfect option for you.

Dream Stroller!!!! May 21, 2011
By Mandie Roehl This is the first time I have ever loved something so much that I just HAD to write a review!
I'm a foster mom currently to 4 children (all with special needs) - ages 4,3,2 & 1. We typically always have 4 small children in our home so my double stroller just wasn't working for us anymore. I could get around, but going for actual walks wasn't an option because my 3 and 4 year old just couldn't keep up and I would spend more time wrangling them in than actually walking. I saw this stroller and thought I would give it a shot.
What I got was such a great product! Having foster kids (and bio kids, too) often means that our stuff gets some pretty hard use - more than ordinary. This stroller will definitely hold up. The fabric is durable and very easy to clean. The construction is very solid. This stroller will handle a lot of wear and tear. I read that it's for "commercial use", but I was skeptical. Now that I have it, I agree 100%!!
The stroller is very easy to maneuver and probably my favorite feature is how roomy, yet narrow it is. My kids all have enough room, but it fit easily through the front door of my house which is more narrow than most doorways at stores so I know there will be no issue getting in. It's more narrow than my double jogging stroller. The storage baskets are ample sized and have a 2nd access point so you can get at things more easily.
The only downsides that I can come with are...The stroller's weight. It's heavy, but what else is there to expect it's a 4-seat stroller!! It's certainly nothing that I can't handle, but of course lighter is always good. At a lighter weight though, I'm sure the durability would be compromised. The only other negative is the front canopy which is short and blocks the backseat's view. I just left it off since I will have my 3 and 4 year old in front (the 4 year old is very petite) so really it's not the end of the world.
All-in-all, I couldn't be more happy with this stroller!!! It has already become one of my "must-haves"!
